Biomaster - Mummy Lunch Club Reviews

Calling all Mums!  Here’s your opportunity to join our reviews programme and test out some of the most innovative products that tackle the harmful bacteria that you encounter every day.

The products are all protected with Biomaster antimicrobial technology, which inhibits the growth of bacteria on surfaces around the home, at work or any situation where good hygiene is critical.

Unlike disinfectants, which only work for a short amount of time, Biomaster works for the lifetime of the product it’s added to and, as it won’t leach out, it’s perfectly safe to use in your every day routine.

Biomaster Antibacterial Bag For Life

The first product up for review is the award winning Biomaster Bag For Life, which was developed by Biomaster and first launched in 2014.

Since the introduction of the 5p bag tax in England in 2015, more of us are reusing shopping bags for multiple trips and although this is great for the environment, there is an increased risk of contracting a food poisoning infection.

Research carried out by Aston University found that bacteria likely to cause food poisoning such as Campylobacter, E. coli, Salmonella and Listeria can be transferred from contaminated packaging or from soil on loose vegetables and survive on the lining of the bag for as long as 8 weeks.

Studies from the FSA have found that the outer lining of around 7% of all raw chicken packaging sold in UK supermarkets are contaminated with the bacteria, the equivalent of around 9 million packets.

As the Biomaster protected bag for life features an antibacterial lining, the bacteria cannot survive and your bag is safe to re-use for multiple trips, regardless of how often you use it.

Major supermarkets Marks & Spencer and Morrisons now offer Biomaster protected bags in a range of styles including jute, pouch, freezer and cool bags.

To make sure your product is Biomaster protected, make sure to look out for the logo.
